Kansas does not adopt a uniform statewide construction code. Each jurisdiction adopts the National Electrical Code, International Plumbing Code (or Uniform Plumbing Code), International Mechanical Code, and International Fuel Gas Code editions with local amendments by ordinance. Business registration. - Formation. Kansas LLCs are formed under Kansas Statutes Chapter 17, Article 76 (Kansas Revised Limited Liability Company Act) by filing Articles of Organization with the Kansas Secretary of State.
