Scope of work

The Louisiana State Plumbing Board (SPBLA) issues Master Plumber, Journeyman Plumber, and other plumbing credentials for individual workers. The SPBLA administers Chapter 55 of Title 46 of the Louisiana Administrative Code. A separate Plumbing Contractor license is available from LSLBC for contracting businesses bidding projects over $10,000. Experience and training

Journeyman applicants must document at least 5 years or 8,000 hours of full-time plumbing trade experience. The application must be signed by 3 currently licensed Louisiana Journeyman or Master Plumbers attesting to the experience. Master applicants must hold a current Journeyman Plumber license (or restricted Master or a Louisiana Professional Engineer license with 5 years of plumbing experience) to qualify. Renewal and CE

Contractor vs
