A Vermont Elevator Mechanic license authorizes an individual to install, alter, service, repair, or maintain elevators and related conveyances regulated by the Division of Fire Safety. A separate Lift Mechanic license is issued for accessibility lift work. Experience and Training
Applicants submit a written application to the Commissioner on a form provided by the Board.
