Scope of Work

A Utah Elevator Mechanic license authorizes an individual to install, alter, service, repair, or maintain elevators and related conveyances under the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Professional Licensing. Experience and Training

Applicants must provide either (a) a certificate of completion from an approved program — Canadian Elevator Industry Education Program, NAEC Certified Elevator Technician Education Program, or National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP); OR (b) submit an Affidavit of Work Experience totaling 6,000 hours of qualifying training, with W-2 copies. Exam
