The Colorado State Plumbing Board, within the Division of Professions and Occupations at DORA, sets continuing-education requirements for Residential, Journeyman, and Master Plumber licensees on a three-year renewal cycle. The board publishes the hour count and required course types (including plumbing-code updates based on the edition currently adopted by Colorado) by rule. Only board-approved providers and courses count toward the requirement. Verify the current CE hour total, approved courses, and plumbing-code edition on the DPO Plumbing page before each renewal.
