Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) requires Master Plumbers and Journeyman Plumbers to complete 24 hours of continuing education during each four-year renewal period. Required content covers the Wisconsin Plumbing Code and cross-connection control. Journeyman Plumber Restricted Service licensees must complete at least 12 hours. All journeyman and master plumber licenses expire March 31 every four years. Course documentation must be retained for at least 4 years after the renewal period.
