Continuing education — plumbers in New York

State CE requirement

NEW-YORK · plumber

7 hours every 3 years

New York State does not set a statewide plumber continuing education standard because there is no statewide plumber license. In New York City, the NYC Department of Buildings requires Master Plumbers to submit an original 7-hour continuing education course certificate of completion as part of license renewal through DOB NOW: Licensing. Upstate municipalities (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Yonkers) set their own renewal and CE requirements through local examining boards; verify locally.
