Nebraska does not license plumbers at the state level, so there is no state-mandated plumbing continuing education requirement. Plumbing licensing is handled at the municipal level. The City of Omaha Planning Department Plumbing Board and the City of Lincoln Building and Safety Department each administer plumbing licenses with their own renewal cycles and any continuing-education requirements set by local ordinance.
