The Nebraska State Electrical Division requires at least 12 contact hours of approved continuing education per 2-year renewal term for journeyman and master electrician licenses, with at least 6 of the 12 hours covering the National Electrical Code. CE must be completed and the renewal submitted before the December 31 license expiration to avoid lapse. Renewal fee for the journeyman license is $25.
