State CE requirement

MINNESOTA · electrician

16 hours every 2 years

Minnesota DLI requires 16 hours of approved continuing education per 2-year renewal term for Class A Journeyworker, Class A Master, Maintenance, Class B Installer, and Power Limited Technician licenses. At least 12 of the 16 hours must be on the National Electrical Code edition currently adopted by Minnesota. The remaining 4 hours may be on other DLI-approved electrical topics. CE must be completed by the license expiration date to renew without interruption; late renewal incurs additional fees. Source: Minnesota DLI Electrical Licensing Basics.
