The Nevada State Contractors Board does not impose a statewide continuing-education hour requirement for renewal of the C-2 Electrical Contractor license under NRS Chapter 624. Renewal is biennial and conditioned on a current license bond, a financial statement supporting the licensed monetary limit, current fees, and good standing. Local jurisdictions that issue separate journeyman-electrician certifications, including Clark County and the City of Las Vegas, may require continuing education tied to the locally adopted electrical code; verify with the jurisdiction where the certification is held. EPA Section 608 certification, where relevant, does not expire and does not impose CE hours.
