14 hours every 2 years

Alabama Electrical Contractors and Provisional Electrical Contractors must complete 14 hours of continuing education per 2-year cycle, with at least 7 hours covering the NEC/NFPA. Licensed Journeyman Electricians are not currently required to submit CE hours to renew their license under AECB rules; confirm current status with the Board before renewal because this rule can change.
