State CE requirement

Virginia DPOR requires 3 hours of Board-approved continuing education per 2-year renewal cycle for Journeyman and Master Electrician tradesman licenses. The course must cover the edition of the National Electrical Code currently adopted in Virginia. All CE must be completed within the 2-year term of the license; providers must appear on the DPOR Board for Contractors approved-providers list.
