Continuing education — electricians in Hawaii

State CE requirement

HAWAII · electrician

0 hours every 2 years

The Hawaii Contractors License Board does not publish a continuing-education requirement for C-13 Electrical Contractor license renewal. The Board's biennial renewal (by September 30 of each even-numbered year) is conditioned on continuous workers' compensation and liability insurance coverage, not on CE hours. Individual electrician licenses (ES Supervising, EJ Journey Worker, ET Maintenance, EU Apprentice) administered by the Hawaii Board of Electricians and Plumbers under HRS Chapter 448E are subject to separate rules; verify any CE requirement against current HAR Title 16 Chapter 78 and current Board announcements before relying on a zero-hour CE cycle.
