The Nevada State Contractors Board does not impose a statewide continuing-education hour requirement for renewal of the C-21 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractor license under NRS Chapter 624. Renewal is biennial and conditioned on a current license bond, a financial statement supporting the licensed monetary limit, current fees, and good standing. Federal EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, required separately for any individual handling refrigerants, does not expire and does not impose CE hours. Local jurisdictions may impose technician-level CE for permit-issuance certifications; verify with the jurisdiction where work will be performed.
