Under 815 KAR 8:010, Kentucky requires 6 hours of approved continuing education each year for Master HVAC Contractors and Journeyman HVAC Mechanics. Renewal is annual by the last day of the licensee's birth month. Federal EPA Section 608 Technician Certification is a separate federal requirement and does not expire.
